Meopta Flexaret IIIa cameras were built in Czechoslovakia probably during 1951-1956.I bought her from Gejza Dunay ...the man from Slovakia...

I only worked with film until recently. I've baught a Nikon D70s so I can use it for faster work (no developing negatives & no scanning). I still prefer to use film and I use it more often than digital. My favourite lens broke just before =MissShyly 's shoot though and we worked mostly with digital

Mirror shots tend to be very intriguing because they are shots of us looking at our appearance. And when we look at them we are looking at us looking at us.
I'd love to have a camera like that. One day. First I'll start with a decent tripod. I've tried that precise tripod with that head you have there and loved it.

I dont know you and i just stumbled on your gallery. First impression of this shot - your expression looked scarey. But i love the romance that goes on with the camera and how your hand so gently touches it.
I guess in most of your pictures we need to take our time to appreciate and not use our MTV honed multi beat a second to be transfixed.

I don't mean to look scary...I have been told that when I shoot I usualy have a serious look on my face...and by shooting in the mirror I can see that they were not lying...
You are right about the romance. I love vintage cameras..
As far as taking your time to look at my pictures, I hope that you're right...I think that a photograph should have "something" in order to draw the viewer's attention but it should also keep the viewer there for more than a few seconds...
