Description
In late 2050s, there are idea within European Union members to design one basic assault rifle for every EU member's army.

In short time, several EU members like Germany, Belgium, French, Austria and surprisingly Britain participate in initial research, with another member ready to purchase and locally manufacture the rifle in their country.

The result is E.A.R (European Assault Rifle) Laevatein, a modular bullpup assault rifle. It normally chambered with 5.56 mm NATO, but with quick and simple modification it can chamber another round such as 7.62 NATO, 7.62 Russian, 5.45 Russian or .22 LR for training purpose.

A wide number of iron or optic sight can be accommodated with top-side picatinny rail. Charging handle are ambidextrous. Ejection port are located at right-front side, above the muzzle but below the charging handle.

As 2100s, Laevatein already in wide use of EU member's army.
