My finished sculpts on the Left and the works in progress on the right... Wait, what's that? Pinkie! Oh no!!!! What happened!?!?!Rarity, Twilight and AJ are all sporting resin casts of the sculpts that I've done for them. If anybody is interested in one or more of these, please drop me a message. I hope to have more sets of the same quality available in the near(ish) future!

I have a long list of sculpts that I want to make happen. The big question is really going to be which ones do I decide to invest the time and $$$s into to make molds for so I can cast them.

I get bored. I also started a Gilda kit when I was working on Rarity, but I would have had to chop ears off and so forth, so I put that one on the back burner for a while. I very much want to finish up the main six so I can get on some of the fan-favorite sculpts!!!!

It's funny, today I was thinking I could buy two Pinkies, curl the hair on one, and straighten the hair on the other. Though on the one with straight hair I would need to take a pink marker and scribble over half her eyes. Or use some of that sculpy.

I bought some decal sheets... I just haven't had a chance to draw up some properly sized eyes to print on it yet, so I can test if they'll stick to the ponies properly... If it works, I figure I can print cutie-marks and eyes for all my custom ponies. If not, it's just another $10 and a few hours down the drain.

I've never done much vector based drawing... I was thinking that I would rip pics of the cutie-marks off of screen shots from the show. If I use vectors, I guess the benefit is that I don't lose the resolution when I re-size? I've got a few drawing programs, I'll experiment when I get to this step...

Actually you can skip the middle man. Someone else already created vector cutie marks. Though there is a downside...you'll probably have to give him a cut...Now it's sounding like a bad idea.

Yeah, not a good idea, especially given that I'm trying to keep everything as cheap as possible. It shouldn't take too long to make the drawings... the hardest part for me is getting some time off from my day-job (evenings actually) so I have enough time to work on all the pony stuff.
