~the bright side of a legacy~
This evening I finally felt like submitting this painting. It's my second with acrylics, made in about 4 weeks because then the lessons at the artist's house would be ended. I thought it'd be stressfull, but with the amazing beautiful music of the artist (like Loreena McKennitt and nice chinese and harp music) it actually was soooo relaxing to paint on this.
(and yes, sorry for the bad photo. that darn thing is so colourblind)

I think that this is one of my favourites among your pictures...
I think it has to do with the colours or something, or the smoothness of the shading and colours themselves...
I really like it anyway ^_^

waw, in het kleine icoon dacht ik dat het een foto was!
Ik ben echt weg van grafengels, ik hoop later ook eens een te schilderen.
Dat is een van mijn artistieke dromen.

zeker doen, hoor ^^ dat kan je ook zonder twijfel! ben zelf ook helemaal weg van stenen engelen, ik vind ze gewoon zoooo ontzettend mooi. een van mijn leraren beeldende vorming zag mijn schilderij en zei toen dat het gezicht wel wat leek op het grafengeltje dat hij in zijn woonkamer had staan.... O_o hmmm dat gaat wel een beetje ver alleen. schilderen is genoeg
