I don't recognize anyone's right to my ability to provide healthcare...and I'm not the only one who says that.

Healthcare is not a right because it is not something produced in nature, but produced by the efforts of other men. To declare it a right, regardless of a person's finances, is to sentence those men to slave labor, to demand they provide their skills and services for less than they are worth.
And if Canada's health system is so good, why do they keep coming here and why do they tell us not to let our system become like theirs?

Uhhhh We don't keep 'coming' to you. It's the other way around. I live in a town that is right next to the US border and every time flu season comes around our medical clinics are FILLED with people from the States who came running up there to get free flu shots. We aren't telling you to let your system become like ours, media propagandists masquerading as 'Canada' are.

One town does not equal everyone in the US, my friend.
And any halfwit can dismiss things as "propaganda", so show me you're not one by bringing proof.

1. The man who wrote the first article is from MONEYSENSE. The article is nothing more than a scare tactic to make seem like hordes of Canadians are crossing the boarder trying to steal health care. There are so many facts muddled up in that article it's not even funny.
2. That second 'article' is located on nothing more than a fancier version Wikipedia, and conveniently it has been published by a Canadian insurance company. Sounds to be like another scare tactic to get Canadians to but into health insurance they do not need?
Can I ask you; if our Health care is /so/ awful, and we are /so/ doomed to destruction...why do Canadians live on average 4 years longer than Americans? [link] Seems to me we should be dying in our forties. Because, y'know, we waste away in waiting rooms. -_-

I really like this essay. I guess I'm the only one who found it. I totally agree with you. Even though it might cost more money for the taxpayers, I think a person's life is much more important. And I really like the format. This is a really good source for my report I'm doing. Thanks!
