if you have CD Art Display 2.0 installed you can easily apply (install) the skin by simply doubleclicking on the *.cskin file or by dragging n'dropping the file onto a running CD Art Display.- 2 styles included (slim & regular)
- place at bottom or top edge of screen
- selfinstalling fonts
- lyrics viewer
- elegant and all new rating concept
- hidden prev/next buttons to both sides
- hidden play/pause centered at the top
- progressbar showing remaining track capacity

whats the name of the font you used?
it doesnt seem to have installed for me

the font is called "Avant Garde Book BT".
it's part of the skin's "Fonts" folder.
i assume that you don't have the latest CAD2beta5 installed.
please, upgrade your CAD and try the skin again.
if everything works out nicely CAD will prompt you whether or not you'd like to install the fonts (in case it's not installed in your system yet).
if confirmed with "Yes" CAD will automatically open up both the system fonts folder and the skin's "Fonts" folder.
then you can easily copy/paste (install) the fonts needed in the skin.

He uses some foundry version of Avant Garde something like BT, not sure, I replaced for the one I have, the "Avant Garde LT" -LT = Lynotipe foundry-.

i wonder why you had to replace the fonts, because "Avant Garde Book BT" is part of the skin's "Fonts" folder.
if you have CAD2beta5 installed then CAD should have prompted you on whether or not you'd like to install the fonts included in the skin.

Yes, you are right. This wooden pattern is very popular. I made the wall with it too and there are so many versions of this pattern, that it's even hard to calculate. But, this pattern is the best available wooden pattern.

"Slim" & "Regular" - normally I prefer "Regular" size, but this time I might just slip into the "slim" version...
This is an absolutely gorgeous skin Otis - you should really be proud of your efforts.
I can't help thinking - maybe CAD could be developed to being a general application dock like Rocketdock etc. It's definitely skins like this that give me all sorts of ideas...
