As you probably remember, I took part in the Ron Big Bang at LJ, as an artist.
This manip illustrates a scene of the story "Stand by me", which is about a Ron struggling with loss and guilt and trying to find himself, as he develops an odd kind of friendship with Draco Malfoy. The original scenes I worked with was like this:

"Yeah," Malfoy said, reaching in his pocket to withdraw a small pipe and packet.
"What’s that?"
"Something to take the edge off…it helps me sleep better."
"Drugs?"
"No…not really. Consider a alternative sleeping draught." Malfoy took a drag from it. The smell was intriguing and Ron found himself inhaling in spite of himself.
"Here, take a puff," Malfoy said, offering it to Ron.
Ron raised one eyebrow. "Are you sure you don’t mind getting Blood Traitor germs?"
Malfoy chuckled. "Normally, I’d be more concerned about contracting Weasley germs…but I’ll make an exception in your case. You need it more than I do, I suspect."
"Excuse me?"
"Weasley, you have bags under your eyes, you walk around all tense and angry looking. It doesn’t take a genius to see you’re not sleeping well. Here, try it."

The story was then improved and it's a little different, but still great. You can read it here .

As with my other illustration for the challenge, it was hard to pick only one scene, but this was an interesting moment in a story with an interesting concept; even though I'm not a fan of Malfoy, redeemed or not, it's really well written. And I had fun building it!
