Tassadar had his nerve tendrils cut. If you see the old cinematics and unit portraits, it becomes clear.

I belive you are mistaken on that. Tassadar is the only Protoss that controlled both Templar and Dark Templar energies and I don't think I could use the Templar part without them.

I belive that in the old cinematic and portrait his head is obscuring his "pony tail" but is you look at this video from starcraft 2 you can see he still has it www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZRk_ZB…

The model is being made for a E-Sports event and in his "heroes of the storm" incarnation he at least still has it

I am not mistaken. In the final cinematic where he drove Gantrithor into the Overmind, his cut tendrils are arranged into a ponytail fashion. While I am aware of the uncut tendrils in SC2 and HotS, I do not acknowledge either as canon.

You do not acknowledge SC2 as cannon?

Regardless of you acknowledgement, they sort of set the rules

Reading trough the wiki I found no reference to him cutting them, nor do I agree they look cut in the old cinematic the part that sticks up continues down. From what I have seen the nerve tendrils often appear to be quite stiff similar to a house with water pressure in it.

If he had fixed severed tendrils in a ponytail we would have seen more of it similar to Zeratul's ponytail. vignette2.wikia.nocookie.net/s…  and not one lonely strand sticking up

While SC2 may have picked up where Brood War left off, the storytelling and direction are so drastically different from where it all started; the atmosphere has changed so much, that it's essentially a completely different story, now. And don't even get me started on HotS.

Anyways, I remember Tassadar having cut his hair, and that's just how I'll remember him. It's a good model, and I look forward to the finished product.

HotS we agree has nothing to with cannon.

Thank you for the compliment and the mini debate I allways enoy them ^^

Have a Nice day

Looks great I'm trying to learn about 3D modeling myself, but I figured out it's extremely heavy task that is also quite time consuming. But I'd be greatful if you'd send some materials to study from
