Not only an attractive design, but legs are well designed for use with chairs.

Right about now I'm wishing two things..
1) I had a place to put a table like this
2) I had a place to put a table like this
It's like the Raider Rules
Rule # 1 - Cheating is encouraged
Rule # 2 - See Rule 1
You've done a man's job, sir.

Beautiful!! What a shame somebody was getting rid of that marble!! But I guess it was great for you!!! Looks perfect for outdoor use...maybe an outdoor bar?

Yes,
I think this will be an outdoor piece as well. I refined that arch design a bit more. You probably can't see it in this shot but the legs are canted in at the top, wider where they meet the floor/ground.I kept seeing this small but significant change in my head after the other one which is a bit ponderous. This one is equally strong because of the design but lighter weight and visually so as well...All recycled rolled rusted steel pipe. The marble itself was ripped out of someone's kitchen because it has edge work on two sides. It was rejected for two nearly imperceptible flaws on the front edge...I think it's an incredibly beautiful stone. Can't believe anyone would toss it away...

I did notice the cant. In my head I also see a brace at the top of the arch. I would have added a piece of flat bar stock across the top of the arches to help brace the arms and add extra support to the soft stone. That is a lovely piece of marble.

The 5/8ths x5/8ths bracebar at the top of the arch was the first piece I put in after making the two sides.I had to carefully prop everything up in my studio and look at it from all sides for symmetry and balance. You just can't see it from this view.
