Description
Decided to try another planet scene in vue. [link] was my first and figured i could do a better one. Saw a lot of people with really nice ones so gave it a shot.and like i told you, this one's for you *100SeedlessPenguin
the only seedless penguin i know.did not come out as nice as i hoped, but it looks alright
Made in VUE with some post work done in photoshop

yeah it was my first time trying that type of scene. for a first time it's not too bad. after it rendered i saw a bunch of ways i could of improved it clouds being one of them.

looks pretty awesome just my 2cents: bg shoud be way darker, now the planet is almost the same color, alos the glow which i suppose is the atmosphere should be alot smaller

yeah the glow was the atmosphere i was having a lot of trouble separating the two and did my best to get the glow to be black so it would show the planet was separate from the black space but it didn't work out. It was my fist try, but i think i can get it when i do another one

The clouds could be a little softer, but it looks great. Here's a good tip: Keep doing stuff like this.

yeah it was my first time trying something like this, i didn't want the cloud to be too soft so they would seem to fade away if that makes sense

I like it! It looks VERY wonderful! You're starting to get a hang of it (better)! Clouds would be cool if they were a little more opaque, but thats nothing and very minute and isn't even a problem.
I tried doing one of these when i started playing Little Big Planet, I'll have to find it and upload it.

i might be making a few more of these just because you can get some very neat thing with it. going to see if i can make a better one next time now that i know more about the lighting. that was still the biggest issue here. it always is *shakes fist angrily at lighting controls*

I was going to do what you just did recently with this planet. but for some reason the environment wouldn't work with ecosystem, and I didn't want to hand place everything in there. lol

i hand placed it here, just used the ecosystem brush tool and set the size % to 150. reason why it won't work with the environment thing is because when you make the size too big and set density it won't place anything. you need to balance it out right
