While playing the game I actually wondered whether Chell needs to eat at all. Cause she has been down there in old Aperture for a day at least, not counting the day she spent in Portal. Sure, a couple of centuries of stasis must make you gain a few pounds, like GLaDOS sarcastically noted. But would it be enough to last days without food? Considering the amount of potatoes around.
