Description
The first of, hopefully, a series of drawings showing the Normandy's crew when Shepard's out on a mission. I love Mass Effect 2, but I think there was a missed opportunity to have the crew interact the way your party does in Dragon Age 2.Jack had heard enough boasting from Grunt about the strength of the Krogan, and decided to show him just how strong a human could be.

I always liked to picture Jack, and Grunt having an older sister, younger brother like relationship. I could defiantly see this a part of their "sibling rivalry."

I love how in the ME3 you actually see squadmates in different locations. Garrus and James was one of my faves as was drunk Tali.

Yeah too bad they didn't expand on the other squad mates you had. I mean Mordin, and Legion's sacrifices where the ones that hit me the hardest, but then the other squad mates you had just had cameos. I never liked Kaiden, or Ashley, and I didn't know how to feel about James. I wish my favorite squad mates weren't just Garrus, Liara, and Tali in that game. EDI was okay, but the appeal wore off pretty quick. And I just had stock squad mates, so I didn't have Javik. Well that was one of my gripes, besides the obvious one with the ending. Scaling down the roster of squad mates was something I didn't like. And besides Javik, there are no new alien squad mates. I just think that's another area where Bioware dropped the ball.

I feel the same way. I destroy the collector base comeback with a brand new ship for the alliance and Kaiden questions my loyalty? What hell was he doing while we fought alien bug warriors, filling out the report on Horizon how he couldn't get the laser to work, lost almost half of the colony, and was nearly captured himself?

Yeah, I know. And the Normandy SR2 is bigger, and more powerful than the original. You even offered Kaidan/Ashley a chance to be on your crew again, (If you where Paragon.) and all they do is bitch. Yeah nice to see you really did your part against the Collectors.

Something tells me we'll be seeing much more crew interaction in the conclusion. The crew made more small talk with eachother in-mission in the demo than most of the sequel.

It's a bit unfair, what with Jack using her biotics, which are powerful enough to tear apart Ymir mechs, but it would be a fun contest to watch (and take bets on

I always bring Jack and Grunt along in ME2. They get get along just perfectly

This was my biggest gripe with the game too, I'd have loved to see the characters' friendships and/or rivalries in action.

I can understand that with 12 crew members it would have been quite a large task to come up with enough unique conversations and interacting scenes to be worthwhile.

Also, they did just fine with a large squad in Dragon Age Origins. When you took different squadmates out with the Warden, they would interact with each other, and you wouldn't have to interact with a random patch of grass to get them to say the lines.

Well they didn't have any trouble coming up with 1.000 pages of codex entries on alien biology and technospeak. I think it was done because they wanted it to be just about Shepard, all the time.

But seriously I do like the idea behind it and yes unfortunately it was a huge missed opportunity to further flesh out the crew and squad.

I'm probably going to have Zaeed hanging out with Garrus. I think they'd enjoy swapping stories.
