Description In some hours rain had fallen.
Her melanchoic and obscure journey
Would turn the sky into a loathsome enemy.
Under fine silks, defenders in the end,
Walked the lady of my sickness.
The guards vigilant to my incoming intrusion
looked for in the distance for me only,
the enraged crazy captive.

The gardens of roses with wet petals
would follow your gaze, same as I, lost.
Inside each drop where my eyes.
In the aromatic pigments, my nose.
Poised on the ground, your steps would reach my ears.
Even so, I am not near you.

Well inside the sculptures you touch, I reside.
In the tree's shadow you rest under, I grow.
On the breeze my hands travel, and give me hope.
And under the blood stained cloth,
as morbid as they always are near me,
was the evidence of such a poetic embrace.

It's refreshing when I can go to the forums, and find someone with a poetic name, and see that they have a true talent with poetry.

I'm glad I read this one, it truly made me smile....even though the poem itself is not quite a happy one. You have a way with words, and that's something to be proud of

Thank you very much. Well the name comes from the past fact that I would only post poetry here but that might change. And since the pen name I always wanted is not as rare or say unique as I thought I decided to go with this one.

What was the one you always wanted, if you don't mind me asking.

Sabriel.

I wanted it because it was my name in hebrew or so did someone tell me. But later I found out it was a character in a book series by Garth Nix. And in places I tried to use it as a username it was already taken so I guess most got it from the book.

This is marvelous; It facinates me the mental atmosphere you achieve with this piece, worthy of admiraton:

"Walked the lady of my sickness.
The guards vigilant to my incoming intrusion
looked for in the distance for me only,
the enraged crazy captive".
