When you said in the description that you were derping around, I think that you're joking, because this looks so well done and so well thought of. The title of it, "Sunset", it reminded me of Espeon, Sunflora, and Volcarona, because they're all classified as the sun pokemon on the pokedex, which was the first thing that came to my mind. As for the shading and coloring, they're all such good, detailed choices for this pic, becuase its like a combonation of those types of windows like at a church and a fabric design. That's the first words which comes to my mind when I've seen this fractal in my message center !
The overall vision is really sweet and colorful.
The palette you use in this flame really match perfectly and create a warm atmosphere.
I'm not a real expert in "abstract" fractal, but this seem really original and unique. all those edges create a kind of perfect disorder, and give a really nice overall vision.
The technique ... just watch this flame, you will see all the technique ... a really nice color scheme, a real texture, a kind of oldish fade effect apply to the colors and overall flame just perfect!
