First I have to clearly state that - this piece is pure awesomeness !!!
A well, done black & white illusion is not as easy to portray as anybody usually thinks, you ought to have enough contrast & blending to bring all the shapes to life and not to be blended to much with the main pattern.
That part I think is 'lacking' a bit - I would shade the circular shape to five it more dimension and give the viewer an optical vision of 3d and being pulled inside the vertigo.
Also the embossed pattern, to me it could be a bit smaller, the effect it produces is stunning, but the size distracts from the main emphasis of keeping the shape and the set-up geometry clean.
Those improvements (or I think they would be) are not as large as to make me - not admire the overall vision, which in its 'escheresque' tone hold my interest firmly e.deviantart.net/emoticons/w/w… " width="15" height="15" alt="
