Also during initiation, when everyone is watching Weiss fall and the screen pans to Blake, you can see her bow twitch, too.

"A whole train car of dust, stolen." -Weiss describing an act done by the White Fang, which was remarkably identical to the 'Black' trailer. She was based off Beauty and The Beast, showed a deep hatred and knowledge of Faunus discrimination, mentioned the Schnee use of Faunus right off the bat instead of letting the shady practices speak for themselves.
This was an American anime where humans possessing animal ears was not only possible but almost commonplace, and here we have a girl on the main cast with a huge bow and a dislike of the major equal rights movement of these people mentioned constantly in the series.
I'm not saying I got it right away. But let's be honest here, more than a few of us face palmed at our sheer obliviousness when she finally unravelled that bow.
