Huh? Seeing those three quotes together caused me to make some logical connections. GLaDOS says to disregard the cube's advice, and then it says the cube wants you to leave it behind. This logically means that GLaDOS wants you to keep the cube. Twisted as she may be, GLaDOS is a computer and should have noticed this. Maybe she did but hoped you wouldn't, because she was leading you on to see how you would react? I admit I still only jokingly go gaga over the cube, but I can see how it gives you a purpose: to protect something...

nice. I think its incredibly funny, the game tells people they love the cube, and next thing you know, its one of the most iconic video game characters in the world. So this begs the question, if Valve told us all to jump off a cliff...

Ah yer an Oblivion fan, sweet... I haven't started SI yet. just finished the original with all other expansions... Lol took a while. My new PC should rock it that's why I'm waiting to play SI.

I just use Xbox, makes it simpler and gets rid of he worries of sysem requirements.
But it does mean you cant get any non-official mods :/

I have the PC version and I found a custom map with remakes of all the levels from Portal: The Flash Version. It was fun to see all the levels I remember playing from before I got Portal, again. Also, Companion Cube Loveboat ride (with turret traps) FTW.
