TRACK NAME: GREAT AND POWERFUL TRUTH

Hey guys and gals! Mr.O here with another request from Mega-PoNEO and yes, this is my second MLP vs Jewelpets match-up. This time, we have two magicians who have sharp-tongues, share species(maybe interracial friendship?) and serve as rivals to other experts of magic(Twilight Sparkle and Ruby). They also both gain wings and ascend to the ranks of royalty at some point(Trixie becoming an alicorn in an alternate universe and Luea at the end of season 7). As you can see, this is Trixie vs Luea and we have two combatants as well as many outcomes, but only one will be chosen!

Who will win?

Trixie Lulamoon, the Great and Powerful Unicorn of Equestria? Or Luea, the Jewelpet of Truth?

TRIXIE

In the land of Equestria, there exists all manner of beings capable of magic, mostly ponies. For the most part, there are four kinds of ponies for variety, including earth ponies, pegasi, alicorns and unicorns. You may know some of those unicorns like Rarity, Starlight Glimmer and Twilight Sparkle, but there's one who's made quite some claims. This so happens to be a mare by the name of Trixie Lulamoon, who claimed to have banished a giant Ursa Minor and boasted her greatness. That was until she was exposed as a fraud and left Ponyville for quite some time before coming back for more.

As she is an illusionist, Trixie does have some talent suited to the profession. She could make fireworks and use magician tools like playing cards, never-ending handkerchiefs and smoke bombs. She can lift things with her magic telekinesis, but it wasn't great at the time so she had to rely on a special magic artifact called the Alicorn Amulet. This little thing enhanced her magic power up to the point of using aging spells, sealing the whole town of Ponyville in a dome and creating giant storms. Thanks to Starlight, she has learned how to do spells like transfiguration and short-range teleportation.

Yes she has teleported a small piece of a swamp and she did conquer Ponyville at one point, but don't let her claims fool you. Even the great and powerful Trixie has her own limits, for she's not as good as casting spells as Twilight or Starlight and a lot of her power came from the Alicorn Amulet which can corrupt her as she uses that power. Even without the amulet, she has been arrogant and can be a coward when things get tough. However, her greatest form of magic comes from her friendship and has since become a counselor.

LUEA

In the past, I have spoken about previous Jewelpets combatants like Sapphie and Garnet, but there are other cute furry creatures capable of doing impressive magic stuff. In the land of magic pets, there is another one who is quite a bright yet sarcastic individual and is quite a teacher. Her name is Luea and she is the Jewelpet of truth, strengthening bonds and gaining trust from those around her. Oh and she spends her time playing the violin, teaching Lillian to be the top lady and prioritising her kingdom.

Representing the truth, Luea's spells can increase the strength of bonds, gaining their trust and making them realize what they did wrong. Besides being a great mentor, she is an expert in casting dark spells via the Jewelpad, but needs a magical key to use it to its fullest. Besides that, she can create giant monsters, light things on fire, disable mental defenses, transfigurate objects(and probably people), make giant tornadoes, teleport and turn into a human. Yes, if she has enough of being a cuddly pet, she can turn herself into a human girl, but unlike Twilight Sparkle(that alicorn pony from MLP), this form grants her a boost. In this form, she can tank explosions, punch iron doors open, fly and land on an airplane and crush big monsters with tall landmarks like the Tower of Pisa. However, this form only lasts until she casts another spell so...there's that. Did I forget to mention that she has a lightsaber?

There's limits to all that magic though, for she needs the Jewelpad to use those dark spells and even then, she can lose control of this kind of magic as it can go berserk. It's okay though, for she knows how to use it wisely or she wouldn't be the Jewelpet of truth right?

Weeeell, here we are, on a battle of magic. Have I ever imagined a unicorn fighting a rabbit? No! Anyway, I know you want to know who wins here so let's get to that. My dear requester has been more than kind enough to provide me with details as to what Luea can do so what's his verdict? He believes this rabbit can win and here's why.

Yes, Trixie has generated giant storms covering Ponyville, sealed it in a dome and even defeated Twilight, but that was all because of the Alicorn Amulet which augmented her magic power. There's the issue, she wouldn't use it anyway for two reasons:

1) She no longer carries that object.

2) Even if she kept it, she wouldn't use it nowadays considering its side effect of corrupting her.

Even with the amulet, she wouldn't be able to compete against Luea, whose magic spells are way more effective, versatile and more than capable of countering anything Trixie can throw at her. Luea can counter Trixie's teleportation with her own, transfigure anything thrown at her into harmless objects and create much deadlier storms. She even has the unicorn beat in physical stats too, for she tanked an explosion visible from space, run around a whole area a million times in six seconds which is way faster than what Trixie can pull off and drop the whole Tower of Pisa on a monster which requires far more strength that the pony simply doesn't have. In fact, that tower is apparently over 186 feat tall and weighs over 14,700 tons.

I legit checked for more info on Trixie to give her a chance, but all my usual resources didn't give me much. There is VS Battles wiki, but it has that reputation of being unreliable so I can't be so sure to pull that info from there. Not for feats anyway. In other words, for all that magic that Trixie has, she isn't as great and powerful as the Jewelpet of truth. Luea's physical stats, superior firepower and more versatile magic earn her a solid victory.
