this was more therapeutic than anything else. i've hit a rough patch.

Ava knew that she should be playing with the other young gryphons in the waterfall. It would be her last chance after all. However, she found it more enjoyable to fall asleep in her favourite spot after catching a few delicious salmon from the lake. She'd grow out of this place soon, too. Ava did not want to grow up if it meant she could not enjoy times like this. The grown ups were so serious all of the time! Ava knew she was kind of serious and all, but the grown ups never smiled or anything! Perhaps she should have dragged Rokhurn along with her. Oh well. It was too late now, so Ava settled down and watched the carp drift lazily under the water, as the bright autumn sun set on her last day of childhood.
