I haven't done a real piece of art (in my own opinion) for a wee while and a lovely friend of mine needed a drawing c: I offered it for free but she insists to pay me sommat ;c which I still feel a bit naughty about giving in :c

always a good sign if you know you despise your work and see it's mistakes. be sure to know when you're done though, and learn to wrap it up to move on. there's only so much you can do to a piece while they are always perpetually unfinished.
i really enjoy the ears and the nose bits, they are well done and feel expressive towards the dog's portraiture. you could consider some shading under the jaw perhaps, feels both that the lower jaw disappears and since the light comes from above that there is a bit of a slight shadow missing. this you will have to see yourself from the references you have used i guess. good work!
