Description
Some of my recent natural history coursework.Red fox fur in watercolor, gouache, prismacolor pencil and pen.
Please note that constructive criticism is always welcome on my work, I am always trying to improve my realism.

But I was not aiming for that level of detail, I "zoomed in" a bit so that I didn't have to spend days on it. Took about 3 hours including drying time between layers.

Looks beautiful! Thick fur is such a bamboozling texture to paint IMO. If I were to offer any critique I would perhaps consider going a little bit easier on the white, so that the color fades into a bit more if that makes sense as the white streaks gives it a bit of a coarser look I think. But that of course depends on the individual fox, seasonal coat etc, I'm really only nitpicking and I'm not entirely sure I would prefer the alternative suggestion if I were to see it outside of my head so to speak.
