Description
A morphing exercise for Natural History Illustration class, blending three different animals together;Β Barn owl (Tyto alba), Red fox (Vulpes vulpes) and Himalayan Kalij pheasant (Lophura leucomelanos) - "Pharnox". This skilled night hunter preys mostly upon rodents and small mammals. It has very keen hearing and eyesight.Media used: Watercolour (Burnt sienna, Ultramarine, Cadmium yellow, Ivory black), Gouache (black, white), Artliner pen and a tiny bit of brown Prismacolor pencil on 300gsm A4 hot-pressed watercolour paper. Original painting is currently not for sale, although I will try to sell it in future after it has been marked.
