Description The fourth mughal emperor, Jahangir, "Conqueror of the World" in persian, son of Akbar the Great. A trully refinated and cultivated emperor who heavily supported the arts in the indian court, but he had also a tendency to the cruelty, fomented by the excessive use of opium and wine. He was like and iron hand wering a silk embroidered glove. I have painted him while in a royal hunt, one of the favourite entertaiments of the royal family. As you see he's using a falcon for hunting smaller preys. I have painted it using as reference a mughal miniature currently housed on V&A museum and a hunting coat (Worm by the emperor) also in that collection.

Hope you'll like it. Comments are welcomed, and critizism is needed.

Regards!
