Description
Some rubbishy scribblings, in a vague attempt at monkeying with the way I approach faces... Hit & miss, as with all sketches, but I'd be interested to hear what you chaps make of it all...

There's something cool about seeing rough sketches sometimes. He looks angry. It's also cool how well defined he is even wihout the definition...er?

Well it's a little what I said about the other pic. You have a way of showing the emotion and such with a very simple image

Woah, does he has a villain looking face! Strong kin, straight nose and frowned brows! Really cool. I especially dig the en-profil one in the upper right corner and the 3/4 portrait, in the middle on the right (that bigger one surrounded by other faces).

The profile is my fave out of these sketches (~~~), but the ¾ one...? Hmmm... It's almost what I wanted, but not quite... Like an old teacher of mine once said, sometime it isn't easy to find the right line, and in the case of these facial contours, that's definitely the problem I'm having...

hehe, i have a load of stuff i havent put up, mostly just random doodles. i'm thinking its good to put them up though, as you can learn from your mistakes and adapt.

yeah i guess. i dont think you can really measure how good a piece of art is either, as everyone has their own views, opinions, and personalities. i dont know.. anyway....

I think we've all got stuff like that...
My view is, if people see the flaws in your own work then they don't need to feel bad about their own mistakes... Nobody does perfect work each and every time they put pencil to paper...
