This is sort of a speedpaint thingie I drew in 2 hours. Just experimented in Photoshop. Backgrounds, what are backgrounds. Let's just splash some color there, yeah, just like that, perfect.

I think that song really fits with this drawing. You managed to capture the mood with colors and forms. However that dark-sand-brown seems a bit distracting to me. Am I mistaken or are there a few flying rock islands ?

yeah, the sand brown on the bottom of the background seems more yellow on my screen. I've been having problems with the brightness

There were some internet tests in order to adjust your screen correctly, but I have the feeling that those made everything seem more off...

Frankly, when this song started playing, I just moved from my keyboard/mouse and had no idea what to do. I seriously thought both would die then. The song made everything 10x more sad.
Thanks! I'm not great at backgrounds, so all I wanted was to play with colors and get that "ruined, burnt and destroyed" look. The little touches of light were and extra I added at the end! : D
