She originally joined the Crystal Gems because she saw it as a way to get off of Homeworld.
She came out of the same Kindergarten as Jasper!
She was poofed on purpose by someone she trusted to "get that awful insignia off of her"
During her Crystal Gem days she was withdrawn and jumpy.
She's aware that what's left of the Crystal Gems lives in Beach City, and she tries to avoid them.
She happened across the barn one day accidentally and she became friends with Lapis. They talk about their tragic pasts and joke about how they're polar opposites
