Without a doubt. Though from what I saw, he's kinda just a goofy myth that people talk up. I don't think he's as badass as I made him look. But i really don'tknow, I'm not a huge fan of the series. Just watched a couple episodes on the YouTube to see what it was a bout.

Yeah, I wasn't familiar with him so much. I'm not a huge fan of anime or manga so I rarely get into them enough to learn about the characters. This was a commission so I had to step out of my comfort zone a bit. I may do some more of them as they seem to bring in a different type of traffic.

I got such a weak response to the lines that I was afraid I'd screwed the pooch on this one. I colored the whole thing in fear that the commisoner wasn't gonna dig it. I'm finally sitting here with a clean plate. I'll be starting on your story next.

Yeah man was a great job all around. I think your colors really bring your stuff to life, not thats its not awesome to begin with, it just compliments your line work.

I agree with the idea that color really helps my work., I keep the lines uniform and thin so that they draw less attention to themselves than other elements such as shape, color and space. With the lines being deadweight, they tend to feel very flat in B&W so I can understand a lack of faves, but for some reason, almost nobody responded the other night when I posted them. That is the first time that has happened since I started posting and It brought up all those old insecurities. Figured I'd missed the mark somehow. Seems to be ok now.

Oh well, I'll try to get thumbnailed pages to you in the next few days.

Thanks boss. That's random rhythm for ya. Helps create movement and also disperses that yellow in his hair and eyebrows a bit more to create more unity. Glad ya dig it.
