Yes, I made this animation based on the past drama on the Tracer character from Overwatch. Simply, the asinine morass of what was assumed crass was too much for me.
On a serious note though, I'm glad that Blizzard replaced what I considered a bland pose with a nicer pose, and I think it's hilarious that the pose still shows Tracer's backside.
Also, this is my first foray into the animation program called TVPaint. So far, I'm liking the program.

I did play the game before I got bored of it, but the main reason I made this was for the Tracer "Butt" pose controversy that was going on at the time: www.polygon.com/2016/3/28/1132β¦

We live in a weird time. Conservatives complain about lewd imagery not being acceptable in public. Liberals complain about the lewd imagery not being respectful to X group. They're BOTH being Taliban-ish, they just don't see it. They think they're being helpful...

Hey dude, take a chill pill. I definitely agree with you that the offended guy was way too sensitive to the issue, but things have worked out for the best in my opinion.
The whole "ass gate" scandal is silly and I'm playing into that silliness with my own art.

not what I meant I mean when you start setting boundaries of good an bad you start to kill creativity like saying books or film or paints should be censored or destroyed in the name of "decency" or any other "moral or just cause" such as what most people claim these days as equality. in a truly equal society everyone should be able to say an do what they wish with in bounds of the law an all still be fine with it. but when people start putting up walls an restricting people all that does is feed tension an repressed rage that will be used on a unrelated persons or eventΒ

If allowed, I agree. The road to hell is paved with good intentions and art, movies, and games will always have its crowd of oversensitive critics.
We just need to defend what we believe in and have a cool head.
