i've pretty much been A Javan Tiger fan since you first submitted your first AJT strip on dA... but i have question for you, sir.
i haven't been reading A Javan Tiger for so long, that i'm afraid i've quite lost the comic's developement by now... so i was just wondering...could you possibly send me the whole thing? you know, a sort of a "collectors album" or something like that? i DO understand if it's impossible to do. but if money is a problem, i would absolutely pay a desired price for your work.
i'm not an over-eccentric fangirl, sir. i just appreciate original art as it is.

The first book is actually nearly complete and will be available after the new year. I'm going to try to make it easy for folks outside the US to get it cheap, (shipping being a bitch and all). I want to make it as available as possible, and I even will add a perk of signing it, too!

Well I just finished the pencils for the ending. Now for labor intensive task of inking. Actually the inking is quite a bit easier, since it doesn't require nearly the emotional effort as the pencils. it will be in book form by january.

I have a little saved up for the copyright and official oh so aesthetic barcode. And hopefully enough to buy a dozen for myself to give to local bookstores.

I'm still working that bit out. The main title will be hand lettered, but the title of "The Girl With the Flaxen Hair" will be something else. Haven't decided yet.

I just went back last night and re-read the entire series. Man, it is really excellent! Great characterization, humor, pathos. It actually brought a tear to my eye at times.
I don't think they are GAY, per se, just confused and lonely.

Thank you! You hit on the theme of loneliness, and that's something that I know plenty of. I did not have a lot of friends as a kid, and still have only a small nitch group of friends.
It really makes me happy to see people emotionally involved in this story. It took a lot of courage for me to even start writing it. I am still scared about getting to the ending, but less than when I started. I can't give up on this story, not unless fate deems it so.

Ha! Know the feeling. I never had a lot of friends, I was that weird kid who didn't have great social skills. I'm better NOW, but still do not have many friends. Mostly by choice I guess. But I still love comics and comic strips.
