Description
This one's similar to my other bone dragon ([link] ), but it has several differences, too. Rhunari's story is pretty much the same--an evil sorceress (or sorcerer, I can't remember xD) enchanted the bones of a dragon to be able to function like one, only it went wrong and the skeleton couldn't be controlled by her (or him).
But the difference between the first one and this one is that the first one was more of a "rough draft." Rhunari was created more efficiently and had more time spent on him. He's also stronger, with better powers and such.
First of all, Rhunari's bones were from a mix of different dragons. The spine, for instance, came from a very large dragon. The rib joints that run up his neck are from another dragon's ribcage, and definitely a smaller dragon than the one who had his spine stolen.
Secondly, the bones were enchanted to be a stronger material. They can be broken with hard metals or enchanted blades, but not by the claws and teeth of other dragons. They were also embued with water magic--Rhunari can do anything with water: he can freeze it to make ice, boil it to evaporate it, or just shoot it at people.
Thirdly, the sorceress made him more aware. He can talk, snarl, growl, and make all those sounds that most dragons make. His bones are harder to break, but now he feels pain when they are broken and it takes longer for them to mend together. The only sense he's missing is his sense of taste (because he doesn't have a tongue, obviously xD). Like the first one, though, he doesn't need to eat, drink, or even breathe. He can walk right down to the depths of the ocean and not die.
He still has weaknesses, too, however. As I mentioned before, he can feel pain, so if someone does manage to break his bones, it's usually a disadvantage for him. Fire/lava is still, also, a weakness, but it takes longer for him to burn because of the added toughness of his bones.
Oh yeah, and he can fly too, but mostly from magic. xP
As for personality, he's a little more social than my first bone dragon, but not by much. Because the other dragons mostly shun him, he wanders the world alone, but if he meets someone that he thinks is interesting--and who won't run away screaming at the sight of him--he'll stop and talk to them.
