Alright now FIRST off... this is an OLD peice!! I made this in High-School, My Senior year. ... Basically 2003.Now here's what this is, I had to do 'independent study' for one class because we found out belatedly I was missing half a semesters worth of credits for biology.
The teacher was kind enough to let me choose my own project and this was what I chose. I designed a draconic skeleton, but I also designed "how" it breathed fire and ice, what it ate, how it could fly, what the food-web was like on it's planet. The whole nine-yards. I ended up with an A+, but I came away with this peice. Probably still one of my best ones. (the wings I detailed on a separate page.)
Done with (Kinko's Brand) Pen on 18x24 paper. Shrunk to 8.5x11.

How did you learn your anatomy stuffs? A book?

for this one?.... um... I just grabbed alot of pictures of skeletons, cats, peoples, dinosaurs... stuff like that, and used those as reference.
Most of my anatomy is self-taught, I learned by observation and by other artwork and stuff Mostly, though I will say a book DOES help! (I borrowed one for a while once)

I never did the rest of the wing for that portion of the Skely, the wings are on a separate page as a different diagram.

wow! i definitly need to learn bone structure and anatomy. im hopefully gonna take human anatomy senior year next year. it might help me learn and do it accuratly like you.

actually if you just pull up pictures of bone-structure and study them you'd be surprised how much that helps!
