Great photo. Did you take it yourself ? How did all the footprints get there ? If you have not yet read all the Dune books then I would strongly recommend that you do. It is an incredible work in its entirety, very far reaching and well worth the effort in reading.

Hey, thanks! I did take it myself. I was on the tail ned of a bunch of people traipsing up to watch the sunset.
I read Dune, and I liked it but didn't love it. I'm in the minority, i know. But I appreciate the recommendation!

Reallya good job on the light and the angle here.
This picture brings me memories of the first time I read the saga of "Dune" by Frank Herbert, when I became obsessed with the desert and kept searching for awesome pictures of sand and dunes, but that was over 12 years ago and I couldn't found anything that satisfied me.
Be aware next time you get on the desert! And remember, if you walk without rhythm, you won't attract the worm.
Note: if you haven't read Dune, and like sci-fy and philosophy, do it as soon as you can, I'm sure you'll enjoy it.
