Also, I'm really happy with how this turned out no matter what anyone else thinks. If you don't like it... go fuck yourself. Maybe I'll agree with you in a couple months, but until then... shush.
materials: sketchbook paper, blending stubs and tortillions, hb-6b pencils, kneaded eraser, lots of patience
thoughts while drawing: i hate drawing backgrounds but it's making it come out very well.
p.s. i think i spent 66% of the time on the bg

I love it. (I can't help it) And it's dark (Again, I can't help that) But it's... really different. It has the shading and the detail, but even with the darkness of the piece, it's... not dark. (Doesn't make sense I know) Anyway, I think you're freakin' awesome at drawing.
