Description
this is something i started drawing on a practice test paper in english class last year. and it kept on growing. i used just a black pen and then scanned it, added a spotlight effect, and gave it a sepia tone. it took me seven months, on and off >_<. it got wet T_Tedit 1/9/09: uploaded original b&w

Seven months? Yikes, that's devotion. You know, the more you do these, the quicker they complete.
I used to do the same thing when I was in class, and now at work. When I was in high school, I used to work with those little stationary pads, and it would take me several weeks to finish. When I got to college I could go corner to corner in about two weeks. Only a few months ago did I manage to complete an entire 8 1/2 X 11 page for the first time, and it took me 3 weeks.
Now I cover a whole page every 2 to 3 days, and they keep getting better. Here's what you have to do, just keep drawing crap. Start a new one and don't focus on making everything awesome, just draw. The first few will totally suck, but you get some great ideas. Like I said, the more you do it, the easier and more quickly it comes.
I thought I'd put that out there, since I like the best of any of the drawings in your gallery. And I agree that Green Day is out of place... what a shame.
I wish I could link you to some of mine, but I don't have them submitted yet because I have no scanner. I will submit some of them soon though. But not on this account, on ~thetangyzip , my art, music, and writing account. Yes, music. There are always ways to cheat the system
