These bolts all happened at different times over the span of about fifteen minutes, and we don't usually get big strikes like these from the tops of storms. Those are actually pretty rare to see, and even more rare to capture. Usually they're just the "smaller" bolts from the bottoms of the storms. These big strikes, classified as "positive" lightning, are much stronger and more dangerous (since they strike so far away from the actual storm). Definitely scary and not something you want to mess with!
