So in a nutshell and laments terms "SENPAI!!!!!! Why won't you notice me!!!!!" (At least that's my understanding.)
But in all seriousness this is one emotional art. I mean wow you really captured the reality of Life and all of its hardships. I mean its hard to be with someone you like or a person you want to be friends with, even if they don't know, talk or even speak of you. That's why its hard for some people to get over things right now then it was back then.
Its almost funny because.. This just reminds me of.. Well me, in just so many ways of words.... You know the only thing I can say to this artwork is that its awesome and beautiful..
This also kind of reminds me of a scene from DW of where Wilfred was reminiscing about his past and he said to Doctor "Oh you probably don't want to listen to an old mans tale." then the Doctor replied "I'm older than you." and later saying "You know I would be proud. If you were my Dad." To me that was kind of heartwarming and kind of him to say that, because he knows how it feels to be alone and broken. But even will all of that he still manage to smile of all of his sad experiences and overcome massive obstacles and that's why I find this art so amazing and just how.. Simple it is.
The only thing left for me to say is thatΒ
"The Saddest people sometimes smile the Brightest. The most damaged people are filled with wisdom. The loneliest people can be the kindest. All because they do not wish the pain they've endured on another soul."

I suppose... Although your artwork is wonderful and packs a punch of emotion, and that I love it, I don't think it would kill you to draw a few smiling faces in a while. :)

^^' That would depend on whether I'm happy or not while I'm drawing.
And I usually draw to vent.. so.. :'s

Oh of course!
I'm just waiting for those moments. (Don't really enjoy being sad ofc...) I usually end up doing the leftover commissions I still have to do, since I'm stable when I'm happy. There are several pieces in my gallery that radiate happiness, but the more emotional ones seemed to be the most liked...

The emotional pieces are always the most liked, because they're emotional and it strikes a stronger feeling inside the viewer, I'm pretty sure.

:) Though happy pieces will get some attention, too. It's just that the more emotional the piece is, the more it will draw the viewer in. I don't know why...

The brain functions this way to learn from sadness, storing it in its memory the longest. It's also one of the bases that was able to give us the ability to create. methinks.

Aaa.. I look into these things a lot that have to do with mental health and psychology, but never really studied it. Just maybe know the general I suppose ^^' though I'm not too sure how correct I am about that one theory

I've been sitting infront of this picture for days and it just stuns me. I can't form any words to describe it, because every time I look at it my mind goes blank. The way you captured her expression, and the direction she is facing (upwards) strongly show that she is yearning something/someone and with the light from the glowing (it is glowing right *.* Sorry if thats not right) unbrella is softly wafting upwards ...idk..it could represent many things @A@ And I can't think. Brain going black out. ur ur. Well...I think that maybe ...for me it seems like its the hope or being able to find that something/someone she is yearning for. OR it could be going in the direction of where the object of her yearning is)
Her body positioning shows part of her sorrow as it shows that the weight of her emotions made all the strength in her legs retreat (?) And the rain, the way it is portrayed, uuuurrrr...
I FORGET THE WORD I'M TRYING TO LOOKS FOR BUT I KNOW IT ADDS MOOORREE TO THIS PIECE!
Okay that is all I can do TT^TT Sorry! Brain+thinking too much=blackout.

You shouldn't worry about that too much. I'm sure a majority if not all of the people who have seen this art would have spent a while to take it all in : ) It has a lot to look at and to try and interpret.
An umbrella like that would be soo cool *A* I would buy it! Like not matter what!
