This reminds me of a rather... unsavory event that happened to me when I was in my junior year of high school. I won't tell you what it is, but I will tell you that I not only didn't get justice for it, but I COULDN'T get it either. One of the perpetrators had ties to a rather nasty street gang and promised to kill me and anyone I went to if I retaliated, so I simply smiled and took my licks. Pff... I still wish I had done something about it. I gain at least a little bit of satisfaction in that a month later, I gave a particularly nasty thug who reminded me of these guys a beating in front of everybody. Hell, even the teachers took my side in it.
But I'm not here to tell you my life's story. I really like this art for more than just the way it reminds me of some shady part of my life (and how even I can romanticize my inner demons after some time). This has to be the first girl OC I've seen who really looks good in tears to me, and I love the way your art style looks. It's sort of a cross between manga and sketching, and the shadows almost resemble ink, or oil crayon. You've captured her expression to the pinnacle of despair, a look that says that the deepest part of her mind knows there will be no help, but a part of her is still begging for it. The shaggy hair, the bloody knows and scratches, the desperation in the eyes, the way the hands are held almost in prayer, and even in the drab color of the clothes; they all scream despair of the highest caliber. I wonder who the shadows could be: relatives who view her as unwanted? Classmates who loathe her for some reason? Maybe even-yes, I will go here-mobsters who have dealt with her parents and are about to deliver the coup de grace to her simply because they don't want a witness? So many ideas, so many ideas...
And yes, I like it because I love to see beautiful people crying. Perhaps after all I've just said that sounds sort of heartless, but I do. Would I help this girl out of whatever's tormenting her? Yes, and I'd gladly take care of whoever is hurting her, since I tend to believe in retributive justice. But personal feelings aside, this is just a wonderful pic, ominous, tragic, tantalizing, and beautiful all at once. Keep up the good work. Like I said, this will be the first girl I've added to my collection who is crying and looks good doing so.

I know this pain really much. As child i was almost every day beaten and mobbed by the other pupils. When I started to self defense, they came in the majority, like seven ore more of them. It is so awful, you feel like some piece of trash, the pain in the soul is much more painful than the physical hurts. But I am over it now. I think your picture show this very good and I am a way thankful that you show the people with this picture this topic.

yeah it really sucks last Friday I felt like I was ripped of my individuality because one of the office lady's took my dog collar and my chain belt at least I got it back v.v plus the collar is important to me because it has my dogs name on the little bone she got put to sleep one day and I didn't even get to say good bye plus I was to little to understand >.>' sorry I am ramblings
