Description Phorusrhacos longissimus gets ready to chow down on an unfortunate Litoptern.

Originally this was going to have a clutch of chicks eagerly awaiting dinner, but I couldn't get them to look quite right so I edited them out for now.

I tried to avoid some of the more obvious art tropes like the crest and a fluffy butt. Instead I gave it a tail more like it's living relatives the Seriemas.

I like the detail you put on the bird and the dead animal and I do think that giving it a tail instead was a good decision. I think this would be a stronger picture if you had a background behind the bird though. I like you art style hun.

Thanks so much!

Backgrounds do tend to be my weakness. I'm trying to remember to add them in more often.

I'll keep trying to get the chicks to look right and add more background.
