Description Hatzegopteryx thambema realizing it's made a deadly mistake and swallowed a young sauropodlet (I love that term) that is too big. A la Mark Witton's beautiful drawing gone wrong.

Sometimes ones eyes are too big for ones stomach!

This quick drawing came about as a result of a conversation with karkajou1993 on odd and deadly predation. Several species are known to kill themselves by swallowing prey to large for their own good. So, it seemed likely that this would happen with pterosaurs and theropods as well.

Anyway we decided that this must be illustrated.

*Edit: I did some more work to this one, so rather than upload it as a new image I'm just replacing the old one. I even pulled out the real art pencils and everything!
Now, I'm really wishing I had done this on real paper.
