It's like a puppy that just rolled a ball at you and then looks up with a look of, "PlAy?!" So adorable!!

I've adored your dragons for awhile, and I myself do dragons but with ceramic clay. I've never had to worry about painting them because the glazes do all the work for me, but I am making a dragon head out of super sculpy for my dad for Christmas......What paint did you use for the metallic look, without making it look tacky? I started to paint him with regular acrylic and I'm not sure I will like it. Could you help me?

Thank you very much. Sure here's a few tidbits that may/or may not help. I used a generic glossy acrylic paint. The main thing to worry about when painting a sculpture is to never let the coats get too thick. Paint as thinly as possible. Either add some water to the paint, or get a paint thinner. Oh, and never use just one color. Try to blend in a highlight color while the paint is still wet. When the paint has dried for about a day. (Yes a whole day) Then you can put on a very thin coat of glossy varnish. I usually use krylon. Don't over do it! And varnish outside please! I know its cold. If you can; leave the sculpture somewhere ventilated but not freezing as it could crack. ;D

She is so adorable. This is the way I imagine a dragon looking like. Not all mean and cruel but cute and kine of like a little puppy.

Hmmm... just to be honest, I liked the unpainted state more. But I have to say, she does look pretty awesome for a teacup dragon. ^^
