This one's actually been in the works for quite a while now. But, today, I finally finished watching Yu Yu Hakusho down to the last episode. Thus, I thought it would be appropriate to finish this on the same day, too!It is but a humble tribute. I didn't put a WHOLE lot of thought into who's on here, but a lot of my favorites are present. Shizuru and Genkai are so underrated ]:

XD koenma's expression. Poor Keiko being crushed. Kuwabara seems happy Yukina is on him. Kurama looks confused. Shizuru's expression is like 'i don't have time for this nonsense'. hiei looks like he is about to kill someone. Yukina looks shocked. Genkai doesn't care. And Botan looks like she's just happy no one is on her. But...his Pu sitting on her back or something?

I like it. *favorites* I'm finally getting the chance (and perhaps the guts since I don't want it to end) to finish the series as well. Definately my all time favorite anime, and yes, I agree, Genkai and Shizuru are terribly over-looked!

Yes, the fanfiction I've come across is rather, well let's face it, it sucks! I'd rather not think of it as a yoai and when people put their own characters in it doesn't have the same feeling... Basically no one seems to be able to capture the true feeling, the spirit if you will, of the anime... Or at least not to my hopeful standards.

I love Botan (sorry, can't help it haha), and the "underrated/under appreciated women" run a close second and third, respectively. I agree; they don't get attention as much as the others. And I think it's...wrong. ^_^ They both rock, and are bad-ass, and deserved to be adored.

Thank you... for some reason I couldn't pass up the opportunity to put Hiei in a humiliating situation.
Also, the underrated characters probably didn't get as much attention because they aren't as powerful as Yusuke and Co. But I think it would have been cool to see some side-stories or something about them, aside from Genkai's obligatory flashbacks and whatnot.
