Description
This harli dane was created by hand using polymer clay with wire support in his neck, legs and tail. After curing, he was given a sleek coat of applied alpaca flock (fiber that has been cut into a powder-fine consistency). Details in coat were achieved using permanent fabric inks.Related content

Thank you! its not felt. Its is a clay sculpture with fiber glued to it in a fine layer. I do not believe that you can get this sort of detail by needlefelting alone.

One of your best; the large size gave room for more detail, I assume. It really looks real, if your hand wasn't in the picture I would think it was just a picture of a dane with a purple background! Fantastic.

Seriously, applying fiber to a sculpt or model is not rocket science once you see how its done. Its creating the underlying sculpture that is more difficult to achieve
