Description
Tassel is an original miniature scale (1:12 dollhouse) cat sculpture created by hand using polymer clay over delicate wire support in the legs, neck and tail. This cat can stand independently balanced on its back legs using the fluffy tail as anchor. After curing, this cat was dressed in a permanent coat of applied alpaca/silk fiber (layer by layer) using scissors, tweezers and glue). Other features include: hand-painted, glossy blue eyes, tiny pink paw pads and individually set whiskers. Shown in this photo with a teddy bear friend (sculpted and furred in mohair flock by the same artist). Tassel resides in a private miniature collection.
