Description This is one of the largest dollhouse miniature 1:12 scale sculptures I have completed to date.  This giraffe was created for an African Safari exhibit and stands at 11 inches in height.  Sculpt was freehand-formed using BeeSputty clay over a wire & foil armature, then painted & dressed in powder-fine flock.  The coat pattern was drawn in pencil, then painted onto the surface.  Next the white flock was applied using glue.  After drying, the russet brown flock was applied and the entire piece was cleaned of loose fibers using tweezers & masking tape.
