Description

                The Knight dropped to his knees as glowing slime splashed up to his waist; his strength was abandoning him. He felt so heavy. It took every ounce of his being to keep himself upright, leaning onto his corroded blade for support.

                Countless piles of bones long since stripped of their flesh peeked out at him mournfully from the swamps murk. All of them bleached with that same arcane bluish hue. He could barely breath. Just what sort of poison had that vile temptress infected him with? His world was starting to spin out of control.

                "Hrmhmhmhm," A rich throaty laughter emanated from the eerie fog. The dusky woman slinked up to him barely causing so much as a ripple amongst the endless pools of glowing slime. She wrapped her arms around the dying Paladin caressing his tarnished chest plate affectionately.

                "I've never seen anyone resist their toxin for so long. You really are quite amazing. Are you sure you don't want to reconsider your choice?" The man clenched his teeth desperate for some way to break free of her grasp, but she had an impossibly strong grip over him.

                She drew close and whispered into his ear.

                "You don't have to die here you know? You can become my king, we could rule these lands together." Here alluring words tinged with honey. "I'm sure we could find all sorts of ways to enjoy each other." she said while softly caressing his armor. Her supple lips curled back in a devilish grin revealing a wicked set of canine like fangs.

                "Of course there are other ways to have fun in this world," A deep guttural growl emanated from the darkness. Dozens of glassy orbs appeared out of nowhere as a massive serpentine beast encircled the two. Their eyes burned like fiery coals matched only by the temptresses own predatory gaze.

                Thoughts of better days long since past flitted across the Paladin's mind. Days spent playing Knights with his little brother among the aromatic grass of the emerald plains, death was fast approaching.

                "A... nother..." he chocked

                "What's that?" she leaned in close with mounting interest.

                "Another will be here soon... and he will put an end to the ugliness in your heart..." The Knight bowed his head resigned to his fate.

                The woman's lustful smile collapsed into a vengeful frown. She backed away from the dying man, no longer amused.

                "This won't end quickly..." She hissed, her voice now filled with venom and spite.

                The many heads of the hydra gaped open in sync revealing hundreds of dagger like fangs. They're high pitched cries pierced deep into the ethereal night as their glowing maws rushed the Knight simultaneously.

                "Such a waste." The scorned woman turned away in disgust and slinked back into the fog.

                Not so much as a scream escaped the Paladin's lips as he was torn asunder by the ravenous Hydra. It caused great amounts of frustration to the demonic woman.
