Description Here is a full body drawing of the holy knight himself.
His attire is based off of 11th Century armour of the time, just a little fun fact.

If you didn't see the story of his creation by Lucy, going to briefly tell you here.

Lucy was binge watching a bunch of medieval movies on Watchflix. After that she went on the internet and searched up funny stuff about knights as well.

The next day, she started listening to a variety of middle age background music. She also started watching Game of Betrayals too. This all fused together and eventually developed, Sie Eirnhart.

Eirnhart is not an enemy of Lucy. In fact he protects her as well with Yoshinori. Think of Lucy being the holy land and Eirnhart will do anything to protect.

On Eirnhart's adventures in this different world, he discovers an old cathedral in the downtown section of Lucy's city. There he meets Sister Amelia who at first did not apprehend the fact that Eirnhart was a knight of old. But eventually came to the conclusion that he was just a man following his dreams. As long as he did not hurt anyone she did not worry about him.

Eirnhart travels by foot to go to the old cathedral every Sunday, starting at 3:00 A.M and arrives there at 3:00 P.M just to pray with Amelia, then leaves and arrives at Lucy's home at 3:00 A.M the next day.

The attire is not 11th Century (1000-1099 AD), but is instead more akin to the 13th Century (1200-1299 AD). The first thing worth noting is that the famous Great Helmets or Heaumes wouldn't be introduced until 1180 AD, in the form of the "Enclosed Helmet". The Enclosed Helmet is quite primitive compared to the popular designs in media. It had a slight protrusion in the mouth area, it didn't cover the back of the neck, and it had a square profile. The Great Helmet you have depicted is the Maciejowski Helmet, introduced in 1240 AD, which is 13th Century.

Knights of the 11th Century likely never wore chain armor with complete sleeves and leggings, so the Maille Mittens and Chausses should be absent in this image. Knights of the time were always depicted with leather or quilted boots and usually had their hands left bare. Maille Mittens probably did not see use during the 11th Century, or were at the very least rare. Depictions of Norman Knights by Matthew Paris occasionally depicted them, but these were drawn in 1240-1259 AD, and could easily have historical inaccuracies. Chausses were almost certainly not introduced until the early 13th Century.

Yee, I was unsure of it now that I look at him.

Since he is also an imagination of a character, I thought I would put a little inaccuracy to get the idea that the protagonists memory is sort of vague about said style of armour. If that makes sense.

Thanks for the knowledge though, I appreciate the correction.

Hey, if you want some cool 11th Century helmet designs, you could use transitional Norman Faceplate Helmets, such as these Spangenhelm designs. They were worn by early Crusaders from 1095-1099 AD...
