The ever changing look of Shonisaurus (formerly Shastasaurus) sikkanniensis. This reconstruction incorporates Ji et al., (2013; www.researchgate.net/.../26355…...), Kelley (2016), and Wolniewicz (2017) to depict a longer, more "traditional' ichthyosaur snout and full dentition (Kelley 2016). I'm sure this will make some people's heads blow up, but this is pretty well researched. That said, it will undoubtedly become obsolete and change once more complete remains are found. Cheers!
