Oh man that's freaking awesome! You got aspen pretty much right on, even though I don't think you've seen my drawings of her :] Also masare must have taken you forever. So many chains!

Palidoozy In reply to pinkpirate [2009-03-30 21:26:37 +0000 UTC]
Sweet! I was worried about Aspen, lol. To be honest I didn't even know where to begin with her outfit... so I kind of looked at loremaster's clothing and altered it from there.
Masare did take the longest out of all the characters. >: Helga was next, as I didn't really draw her armor very well in the sketch.

Pelor is the dude up at the right chillin' there. It's a supercrazyepic campaign, so the party is running into gods left and right.
D: It's pretty crazy.

NOWAI, I WANT TO SEE HIM FIGHT KORD!!!!
The way I introduce epic is by having my PCs kidnapped by a continent-spanning gang of brigands who ride the various beasts of the air. It was supposed to be a very classic mercenary deal, with the the four of them hired to protect a dwarf's powder-caravan through the immense and wild forests on in to civilization. Nope.

): tear.
The only real "epic" I'm going into with a campaign is in 4th edition. I have it all mapped out, but chances are it will involve gods and the like.
Then again it is also aptly called "failtrain."

Oh man. I was not impressed with 4th Ed. I went and downloaded all the core books available at the time so I could get a jump on my friends. Needless to say, none of them even know how to play 3rd, and when I mention 3.5 they look at me blankly.
I swear, this is the least nerdy area on the east coast. I'm marginally depressed.

When I lived on the east coast, I didn't play nearly as much D&D as I do now. I played with... my brother. And I was involved in a campaign with my friends. That's about it.
yep.
4th edition is pretty fun though, honestly. Though I think there are some things to fix in it, it is the best version of D&D I have ever experienced DMing in, out of 2nd, 3rd, 3.5 and 4th.

If I ever find any other people who actually know what a grapple check is (and how to make one) I'll pick it up.

Your work is really impressive, I think it's a shame Sakura Con was nearly impossible for artists to have a table at this year. If I'd gotten acquainted with you sooner I wouldn't have minded sharing space with you. Maybe in the future.
