durrr.For the current story, I wanted the world to be very magical and volatile. Portals to other planes opening up randomly, all that sort of stuff. Unless the portals are sealed off and controlled via a gate of sorts (the remnants of columns surrounding it, in this picture), they'll expand and produce nastier and nastier crap.
those are the characters from the last deviation, being less hilarious.
Honestly needs more clean-up, but was only really intended to be for concept. Might go back and touch it up a bit more one day.

This to me looks like some concept art for a boss battle for a RPG video game. The perspective used in this piece is pulled off quite nicely, very effective technique!
