Oh I wish I had such pictures of my parents and grandparents, too! But actually they didn't take any pictures back then ... or at least they didn't keep them.

yeah, isn't it? Actually their whole partnership was kind of unromantic. just today I asked my mom how dad proposed, and she just said he didn't, they just decided to marry now. so I'm glad that at least the way they met was romantic
oh that's bad! but it's a good thing that you finally scanned the o nes you still have. Time kills old photos quite easy ...

yeah ^^ strange fact but back then in the class of my father there were too many boys so they needed some girls from another school. the school organised the needed amount of girls. and when they all started dancing, my mother and my father were the last ones on the bench.
And now for the funny fact: My MOTHER asked my FATHER to dance with her because he was too shy to ask her back then ^^
